Review criteria

During the review process the referees are asked to take into account all of the following aspects:

  1. Is the subject of the paper relevant to the subject of the special publication/proceedings?
  2. Does the paper contain new data or new ideas?
  3. Are these up to international standards?
  4. Is the presentation clear?
  5. Does the author reach substantial conclusions?
  6. Is the length of the paper adequate?
  7. Is the language fluent and precise?
  8. Are the title and the abstract pertinent and understandable?
  9. Is the size of each figure adequate to the quantity of data it contains?
  10. Does the author give proper credit to related work and does he/she indicate clearly his/her own contribution?
