Review Process (External Evaluation)
Once the Managing Editor and the Organizer(s) of a proceedings issue or a special publication have agreed on the editors (serving as Guest-Editors of the journal with respect to that particular issue), these editors will act as "Editor and Editorial Office" themselves. Thereby, these editors should:
- Use the Check-List for Reviewers
to collect the opinion of the referees and the Editor's Report Form
to summarize the result of the reviewing process for each manuscript separately.
- Inform each author about the outcome of the review of his/her manuscript and to invite him/her to submit the final version of his/her manuscript directly to the Publication Production Office in accordance to the Manuscript Preparation.
- For an electronic submission the editor, the referees and the author(s) must agree in advance about the way of submission and about the nature of the text and figures files to be submitted.
